MED EXPO-II 2026

                                               MENS - MANUS – MEDICINA

Introduction

MedExpo 2026 is a national-level medical student research conference designed to provide a dynamic academic platform for undergraduate medical students to present research, engage in clinical reasoning, and compete in intellectually rigorous activities.

By combining traditional research presentation formats with interactive diagnostic challenges, MedExpo aims to nurture well-rounded clinicians who are not only capable of conducting research but also skilled in analytical thinking, structured argumentation, and evidence-backed decision-making.

The conference will feature three core competitive segments:

  • Oral Presentation
  • Poster Presentation
  • Differentials & Deception

Oral Presentation

The Oral Presentation category provides participants with the opportunity to present their original research before a panel of experienced judges and an academic audience.

Selected presenters will deliver a structured presentation summarizing their study’s background, methodology, results, and conclusions within a designated time frame, followed by a question-and-answer session.

Poster Presentation

The Poster Presentation category allows participants to visually showcase their research in a concise and organized format.

Participants will present their posters to judges in an interactive setting, where they will explain their study design, findings, and implications.

Differentials & Deception

Differentials & Deception is a competitive, case-based diagnostic challenge designed to test clinical reasoning under pressure.

Participants will be provided with detailed clinical case files containing patient history, examination findings, and investigative data. Based on the information provided, teams must defend what comes their way.

Animal Research Lab Workshop

The Animal Research Lab Workshop offers participants a foundational introduction to experimental research using animal models. This hands-on session will cover the basics of research methodology, ethical considerations, study design, dosing and calculations, and essential laboratory techniques, providing attendees with practical insights and core skills necessary for conducting responsible and effective animal-based research.
