At the Local Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (L-ORIC) at CMH Lahore Medical College & Institute of Dentistry, our mission is to cultivate a dynamic research environment and encourage innovation and commercialization of our research outputs. We aim to provide facilitation and operational support to all research endeavors within the institute, empowering our faculty and students to realize their research and innovative potential. L-ORIC supports research collaborations with both national and international academic institutions and industries. Our focus is to facilitate our faculty and students to produce and present research that addresses both local and global issues, strengthened by hands-on training, research facilities, and grant funding. We regularly share information with our researchers about upcoming conferences, symposia, and scientific competitions encouraging our faculty and students to present their research at national and international level. Additionally, we offer financial incentives for publishing in esteemed journals and also provide grants through Research Impact Fund awards. Our commitment is to foster a strong research culture at our institution. We recognize the unique position we hold in a developing nation, and we are committed to empowering our faculty and students with the tools, resources, and guidance needed to drive impactful discoveries and innovations.
